Costumes (Or Me Wishing I Could Go To Comic-Con But This Will Have To Do Instead!)

I will be honest. I am a geek, a nerd, a Star Wars loving, live long and prospering, comic book reading, game playing, quote repeating, Big Bang Theory watching Whovian seamstress. And I love it. I cannot wait til I get another paycheck so I can get my kids costumes sewn up. In the meantime, I got to mock up this little Ponyo number! Miss A is not the intended wearer of said costume but I think it came out pretty awesome! I have to give a big "Thank You!" to Miss RaeAnna Goss of Sewing Mama RaeAnna for the base pattern, the Bumblebee Dress. To make up for the fact that I am missing Comic-Cons everywhere, I have been planning and drafting the costumes for the kids. We will have Green Arrow, Katniss Everdeen, and Hit Girl! And I am hoping to go true cosplay style for them, catching every detail as closely as possible!! I am so excited!!! Hopefully all goes well, and I will have some amazing Halloween photos for you! ;)♥ Jen
